In Chattanooga, TN? Its pretty cool. Took the kids there on our drive back to Indy from Florida a couple years ago. On a clear day you can see several states from the top of the mountain and Ruby Falls is a good experience as well. It's become somewhat commercialized since the times that I stopped off there with my father many years ago but the kids had fun.

Yeah we have. We took the kids for a long weekend down to Chattanooga a few summers ago. Rock City is just one of the interesting things to do there. Civil War stuff, an excellent aquarium, etc. It was a good trip

I used to count the "see rock city" and "see ruby falls" signs on the road down south. Never actually saw them, though.

there is a sign on a barn on 231 south of Cloverdale. Always smile when I see it.
Yes I went when I was a child and I enjoyed it

Rock City is interesting but I would not travel just for that. There are several places in that area that are worth a look, so plan to do several things while down there.

I was there probably 15-20 years ago, it's kinda cool. Like was mentioned the Civil War stuff Is cool. Not to far from Rock City is the Chicamunga (sp) battlefield, in the Rossville/ Ft.Ogelthorp area. I guess they redid the museum, lots of walking paths, and scenic drives, tons of cannons and monuments.
I lived right in that area for about 6 years.

I think that is where "Fatman Squeeze" is located. And yes, if you're too fat, you won't make it through, so lose some inches before you go. :>)
