That is why 9mm rifle barrels changed the thread from 1/2 x 28 to 1/2 x36 on many AR15 rifle's. They didn't want someone to accidentally screw a 1/2 x 28 .556 flash suppressor on a 9mm barrel and catch the bullet as it exited the barrel. Some still had their rifle's threaded to 1/2 x 28 since it is the most common silencer thread, and just drilled out the cheaper .556 flash suppressors.

All that said, I looked at your product, and it seems it likely has the clearance. On this site someone is showing off their 9mm rifle build with what seems to be one on it unless they make one for the 9mm too. They do make a 30 cal one that would likely work. If should doubt, call the company.
