My old Winchester 22 model 190's stock is just a bit too long for my comfort. Is it possible to find a shorter stock, or is there someone that can cut off an inch or two and finish the butt so it looks normal?

There are no aftermarket or shorter stocks that i'm aware of. The gun has been out of production for a while. I have my dad's he got in 1975. You could probably get away with taping off the edge you plan to cut and have minimal damage and just touch it up if you feel like it.

I was really hoping to find an aftermarket stock so I could simply remove the original and use the shorter stock, so if I ever sold it I could provide the original. But I guess if nothing turns up, a trade is in the works.
