    This is why blue guns exist.

    I participated in a similar exercise as part of the Fishers P.D. Citizens Academy. We used blue guns.

    I can understand using Simunitions in a comprehensive force on force class, but I don't really see a need for it in a free exercise involving average citizens, especially when participants are elderly women.

    I think allowing those in a citizen's academy to participate in force on force with Simunition pistols has tremendous value. Ours do not get any live fire training and nothing provides better evidence that shooting a handgun accurately under stress is not as easy as it appears on television.
