The P64 is an all steel pistol that just eats any ammo I feed it. It is an ok edc gun, but in my opinion makes a better truck gun, where weight is not a concern. I have carried a P64 for years, and have no complains.

The P64 is a great BUG. I have had several but they seem to wander away in trades. I need to get another one. Very handy in the pocket.

I have the P64's replacement - the P83 WANAD. Bigger and heavier, it's on 'kitchen duty' - tucked away as a home backup.

I had one of those. Same reliability, same accuracy, slightly bigger package. Not quite as abusive but still not much fun to shoot.

But despite the above, would you want to rely on one of these as your EDC? (And I know, if it's the only gun you can afford...)

Depends, same as every other handgun. Have I tested it and found it reliable? Is quality self defense ammo at least semi-readily available? If so I see no reason not to.
