Takes glock magazines, which is a huge plus if someone has a G22.
I bought it new just in october and it probably has about 100-150 rounds through it. It is in new shape I just need to sell it to cover another purchase.

one 10 round glock G22 magazine
one 15 round new in package G22 magazine

what about G23 mags? or does this only take G22 mags?

the handle only will take G22 mags.
just like the 9mm ones since the magazine catch is in the same spot on both mags the handle can be cut down to fit the 23 mags and then of course the 22 mags would fit and stick out the bottom

What is the key - is this some sort of safety on the pistol or is it for a gun lock?

on the back of the rifle is a detent that holds it shut when folded. the key makes it so that the release doesnt work, making the rifle inoperable.
I would never use it, but if someone had kids it is just another way to keep it safe.
