I wonder whatever happened to this kind of thinking? I grew up thinking patriotism was the AMERICAN way!

These were our parents. What in God's name have we let happen?

I guess we are the last generation to see, or even remember anything like these? And what happened? Political correctness (or "re-education") happened, lack of God's name happened, lack of personal responsibility happened, lack of personal integrity and honesty happened, lack of respect happened, disloyalty to our country happened, lack of being an American happened. How sad it is!

We should never forget what the "Greatest Generation" did for us !

    Spot on!

I am young. But I understand what you are saying. Most of my generation does not "get it", which is something I have always tried to change.

Hi, I agree with you 100 percent. I have several WWI WWII posters in my home that hang on my walls. I find they bring up alot of discussion. My answer to the nay visitors about the way this country is today is...Did you vote? how much time do you listen to congressional talks, do you check bills trying to be passed in the senate? They usually shut up, because I had them on the first question. My father fought in WWII and raised me to love this country and to fight for my rights. Thanks for letting me see some great posters and know that I'm not alone.

Thank you for a great post and an important reminder of where we have been and how we have the luxury of standing on the shoulders of so many who have sacrificed so very much.
