XDm size?

I used to have an XDm in .40 with a 3.8" barrel.

I was tasked by a friend's wife to find the same gun in .45 for a christmas present, but can't.

Does Springfield only make the XDm in .45 ACP in 4.5-5.25?

They make the XDm in multiple caliber and sizes... including a .45 ACP in 3.8, 4.5, and 5.25 barrel lengths.

They don't make a full size frame 3.8" barrel .45, just 4.5-5.25, or a compact frame with 3.8" barrel.

Yes, but the 3.8" Compact also includes a full-size mag and adapter to approximate the grip size and capacity of the full-size frame.
