    Yes, plated bullets should be treated as lead for loading purposes. At least that the way it was explained to me.
    You can generally push plated a little faster, but until you figure out how thick the plating is, you're best to treat them as bare lead.
    Not all plated bullets are created equal.

    As Sparky said, start low (at or close to minimum) and work up from there, watching for problems along the way.
