I bought a copy of the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and the Constitution, all are printed on parchment. I then found some frames on-line and just finished getting them framed up this evening.

They will look great in my living room.

2010 was full of big purchases for me, so it's a toss-up between my '10 GTI, the Tempurpedic bed, my Lenovo laptop, or my Chris Reeve Umnumzaan knife. Lots of Busse knives in there too..... so I'm not sure what I'd say the best purchase was. Probably the GTI.

I miss the boat we had. Almost nothing better than heading out on the water as the sun is coming up and heading home when it is just getting dark. Lots of time spent fishing for a couple summers.

I think my worst buy was also my best buy. I bought groceries for a young single mother for them to have christmas dinner. Little to say my wife thought the story was pretty flimsy when questioned on the reciepts she found in the laundry, but she cooled down when she secretly read a text on my phone from the lady thanking me got me a fat juicy steak dinner for that!!! Im just glad the wife did not reward me with sex I'd have went and took them groceries back!!!

I'd like to think it was my new LG 60PK950 60inch Plasma TV
that I got on a ridiculous price ad match off of a Fry's ad
at HH Gregg for 1349.00 when it was listed for 2995.00.

But I'm going to go with a replacement pup that we got when
our beloved Woodrow had to be laid to rest, and to keep our
other pup Ellie from grieving.

After all, I'll have this TV for a long time and replace it,
but will continue to have a lifetime of great memories of
this pup who continues to bind with us more each day.

So I think my $200.00 donation to the rescue shelter in
Louisville, KY is my best "purchase" for our rescued
Border Collie girl Sarah.

After all how can ya not love this "I love you,
but I'm gonna pounce on" ya look.
