When brick world was at the fair grounds, I picked up a 1911 and a lever gun & they gave me a mini gun.

I love Legos, my son does also.

You're not gonna win this round I'm afraid.

They're legos......plain and simple. Many products end up known by their brand name...... q-tips, Kleenex, etc

if i walked into a gun store and asked for a clip for my glock ya would laugh at me and say i'm a ....... owner.

same for us fans of LEGO. you say 'legos' and we know you are a ....... owner. ;)
that is about as close as I can related it to you 'gun nuts'.

so the choice is yours call it legos and be prepared to be looked at like you know nothing. :)

Saw a bunch of these in person at the LEGO World expo earlier this year; they're super cool (and so cute!).

Being a Transformers fan from back in the day, as well, I'd love to have a tiny LEGO Megatron. :D

    • The LEGO® brand name should always be written in capital letters
    • LEGO must never be used as a generic term or in the plural or as a possessive pronoun, e.g. “LEGO’s”.
    • When the LEGO brand name is used as part of a noun, it must never appear on its own. It should always be accompanied by a noun. For example, LEGO set, LEGO products, LEGO Group, LEGO play materials, LEGO bricks, LEGO universe, etc.
    • The first time the LEGO brand name appears it must be accompanied by the registered symbol ®

They are pretty protective of their name.
