Was just reading this and discussing with my wife along with the reasons as to why we both carry. Looks like a few people tried to help, curious as to what you all's thoughts are on responding while carrying. Good idea or bad?

Carry a few extra mags in the car for such emergency's. Age does not determine if someone is a threat, a 10 year old pointing a weapon at you can be perceived as a threat, and a mob of violent attackers are not children or harmless. Do what you have to do to get yourself and your loved ones home safe to your family. Remember, if it justifies lethal force, a vehicle is also a lethal weapon. If your life is being threatened, you can drive away, even if you have to drive over someone just like the guy the motorcycle gang tried to surround and disable. It is a disgusting display of animal behavior when an animal knocks someone unconscious and continues to kick them in the brain / head. At that point they are simply trying to kill them or cause as much great bodily harm as possible.

The kids in that clip, attacking and kicking the downed subject in the head, should be charged with attempted murder. Period.

I always carried a spare magazine mostly for malfunctions. But now that they are rolling in larger packs, I'll still carry at least one spare mag but for an added reason.

Maybe, but I don't think it was racially or at least mainly racially motivated. Two black teens and one white were attacked by the scum.

To All,

What I haven't seen yet and want to at least mention is the good news and hope that is buried in this story.

Two (2) teenage employees, outnumbered dozens to one, had the character, courage and integrity to come to the initial victims aid! Think about that for a moment, how many people today would be so willing as to place themselves in harms way against a wave of hostile aggressors?

Their parents should be damn proud of their children today!
