I just picked up a zastava pap m92 pistol today. I got a great deal on it so I snatched it up. I don't know a whole lot about AKs as I just own 2 ARs and 1 bolt rifle. Can anyone tell me anything about these? I only have around 375 bucks invested in it as I traded for it and I got the rifle I traded for a great deal from a friend in need. Any information anyone has on these would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like you came out pretty well on the deal. The M92 is a pistol made in Serbia. I believe it has the 1.5mm thick receiver. It is an AK it should be very reliable. I think a new trend is to put the pistol brace so it can be shouldered.

Ya I plan on buy an sb47 brace on it eventually. I figure the ak pistol would be a lot easier to maneuver in a house/ apartment type setting for training or if the need for it ever actually happened.

I have one myself and I have about double that in mine with not much more that what yours has. So you got a great deal. I put the brace on mine and plan to add the folder option so it can go back in my get home bag. I would suggest in replacing the factory welded on thread protector with a flash hider. Less flash so that you eyes recover faster for the next shot and accuracy increases. Congrats on a crazy fun gun.

Good lookin m92 pap. I'm ordering one myself this next week on J&G sales for 399. $450ish shipped. You got a hell of a deal.

I'm actually doing a side folding SB15 brace on it.

Receiver is 1mm thick, which is sufficient. I have two and love shooting them. I replaced both grips with a Hogue grip and installed flash hiders.
