Hot, humid, thunderstorms... perfect weather to be out at the range for the weekend!
We had a very small group but they were persistent, tough and determined to improve their marksmanship in spite of the challenging weather.
During breaks in the shade, we shared the history and heritage of the decisions and actions made on our behalf by brave patriots on the most important day in American history... April 19th, 1775.
James, "Shifty", Mike and June joined DHolder, SPQR and myself for a great weekend. My thanks for making it an awesome and fun shoot!
James proved rather formidable with a .22 against 4" steel at 100 yards.
Then Mike shot it to the ground with his AR...
We moved on to 8" steel at 200 yards and a rapid fire transition stage against a full size D target paster.
This a great range to practice come-ups and adjusting for different distances
As a perfect end to the weekend, June shot a 216 Rifleman score with no cover in the rain on the last AQT Sunday.
She earned the patch. She earned a hat (SHOOT LIKE A GIRL ...if you can.) But perhaps most importantly... she received bacon.
RIFLEMAN BACON!
Come on out to the next event in your area and bring some friends.
