Humorous as that is, Microsoft also works with the NSA.
Pretty sure a good deal of the NSA's infrastructure runs on MS products.

I would search on Yahoo!, but they give a lot of money to anti-freedom folks, too.

They all work with the NSA. Those that don't, still get requests for records and have to comply.

You'd figure with the stuff I "google" and buy from various places, I'd have a "nondescript white van with tinted windows and way too many antennas" parked out front by now. I swear in the same evening I've shopped for canning stuff (pressure cookers), ammo, camping gear, etc.... more than once.

This thread has to be a giant :poop: magnet by now.

Needs more key words. Bomb. Explosive. Grenade. Fireworks. Marathon. Bridge.

    Don't worry... the article says:

"One hundred times a week, groups of six armed men drive to houses in three black SUVs, conducting consented-if-casual searches of the property perhaps in part because of things people looked up online.
But the NSA doesn't collect data on Americans, so this certainly won't happen to you."

See there? Nothing to fret about...

"consented-if-casual"? What does that mean? That they don't have warrants? So, they arrive in what appears to be full SWAT gear and ask for permission to enter? Something is very wrong between the picture and that statement.

The picture is from the search for the Boston bomber in April. They footnote it at the bottom of the article.
