Every once in a while you get an opportunity to work with a master of the 1911 platform, this was one of those times. Working with Chuck is an extremely special process as he is there through the entire process giving you insight and information to allow you to make decision on where your project goes. From conception to completion Chuck was truly a stand up guy and is the pinnacle of what a custom 1911 project is. I’m not going to get into the list of every option Chuck put on this gun, but the pictures will surly show them.

Outside the welding of the slide and frame to give this Colt a match grade feel, it’s got all the Rogers reliability work done… Chuck will tell you, the bottom line for any of his gun is, they have to run… always in all conditions. It’s got the signature golfballs, amazing dehorning, tier 1 sights… all the flair that Chuck has become famous for.

This tri-topped switch barrel is u like anything else I’ve seen and couldn’t be prouder to add this Pony to my stable! Enjoy the pics and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

I saw that on FB, didn't know it was yours! His style isn't usually up my alley but that one is nice!
I get it! The thing about Chucks work, although visually interesting in terms of. On traditional… it’s all functional. There isn’t a feature that Chuck adds that doesn’t aid in function and performance in some way.

Yeah, often his work looks overly rounded and softened but this one maintains the traditional edges etc if you know what i'm trying to say.

I get it. Chuck strives to eliminate snag points as his guns are meant as hard use training and carry guns. Although most of his work imo doesn’t overly exaggerate dehorning, I understand what you mean. Until you carry and train with one of Chuck’s guns, it’s hard to understand!
