Last time I checked, a shotgun is about as deadly as you need, but nobody ever wants to ban shotguns. Much of the world's population seems to be irony-challenged.

Well, you have to remember, these are the folks that came up with the "anti-stab" knife when stabbings shot up after their firearms ban.

There is nothing on that table that is and I quote "issued only to special forces" The most "high speed" thing on that table is a AR15 that could possibly be a M4 with a M145 and a Surefire tac-light. Nothing screams Special Forces to me..

God I'm glad my family left the UK before I was born.

Well the comments aren't as bad as I was expecting. The UK is a nanny state run amok. They'd have a bowel movement if they saw some of the legal private collections on this side of the atlantic.

A ‘hitman-style’ pistol with a silencer attached was also discovered, along with more than 500 bullets.
    WHOA!
    That's a Ruger Mark I
    I have a hitman-style pistol! :rockwoot:
I have two cartons of 22 gullets though.
    Thats more like a thousand.
I must be a better hitman than he is. :p

From the article linked by the OP:
Police feared they could have fallen into the hands of far-Right extremists, terrorists or drugs gangs
Those darn far-right extremists. Thank God those peace loving socialist revolutionaries are a peaceful bunch!

    Acts of Resistance

And so in their hundreds of thousands, young people took to the streets, occupied buildings in a ferocious movement to beat back against this injustice.

Anymore, I have nothing but contempt for England and the people that elect their leaders and put up with that crap. No sympathy for the guy arrested either, he broke the law. Yeah the law there sucks, but it is the law. If he was insisting on having weapons in violation of the law then he should have been willing to use them to fight for his freedom. If not, then this was an inevitable arrest.

Human rights whether the tyrants want people to have them or not.

I have no respect for anyone who would carry out this law. :twocents:

All humans are born with all the same rights by virtue of having been born human. Some humans have the misfortune of having been born into varying degrees of slavery in places where their rights have been stolen.

The law means NOTHING to me morally if it steals the exercise of my rights or the rights of ANY of my fellow humans anywhere on the planet.

People who go to jail under an unjust law, whether that law is about guns or about drugs deserve our sympathy and solidarity, even if they were impractical or reckless with their personal well-being when they broke that particular law.

The slavers are doing well enough without our help and moral support.

yep not all laws should be enforced just because they are "the law". thats why im a member of oath keepers. lots of cops, soldiers and other people in authority positions who will refuse to enforce unconstitutional orders or LAWS.
