I did a search, and I didn't see anyone had posted this already, so I thought I would post it up. Almost made me cry, seeing that poor Glock abused in this way... Porn for "plastic gun" haters though, I suppose.
It's amazing how well it held up.

The INGO forum search can be... finicky. :D

Another way is to use Google and add: site:ingunowners.com to your search.

In Patrick Sweeneys' Book of the 1911, he does the same thing to four 1911s, Wilson, Kimber, Rock Island, and Charles Daly. Similar routine, frozen in block of ice, burried in mud, dry grit, fired under water, he even threw them down in a parking lot and drove his truck over them. They all passed.

Well, I'm glad it was new to at least a couple of people other than myself.
It's just amazing to me what you can put pistols through these days, and still have them function flawlessly. I had a Ruby, and a Beretta when I was a teenager, and neither one would fire without a FTE or FTF if you didn't clean them every 200-400 rounds.

Never seen it and thanks for sharing. The instructor for the Glock Armorer Class I attended said that his Sheriff Dept. in Florida dropped one out of a helicopter. Pretty cool and a testament to Glock's durability. I sure would not want to treat my beloved Glocks that disrespectful. :)

I purchased a book...complete guide to glocks, its a great book!!

In it there is a section that shows and tells about ALL the original torture tests that GLOCK put their own gun through...amazing!

1st test was 1000 rounds as fast as possible, 15 rounds per clip...and 3 different shooters.

After the first few clips the pistol became soooo hot the guys were burning their hands hold it and changing clips.

It took 17 minutes to burn through 1000 rounds.

Now i would have to go look it up...but the only thing suffered damage recoil spring/ guide rod.

    AMAZING GUNS!!!
