Glock is a firearm icon. Just like Campbell's is to soups, Band-Aid is to bandages, Cessna is to airplanes, Ping & Titleist are to golf, Apple's iPod is to MP3 players.... They all made products that work and work well. I don't own a Glock yet, but I plan to jump on the bandwagon soon.

    One more thing.....
My signature says it all, end of discussion.

    Seriously...
I'd read enough threads here now to state with 99% certainty that every time a question is answered by a Glock owner, it is always followed up with:
"end of discussion." "nothing else to consider." "case closed."
    etc... etc... etc...
    S&W owners don't do this.
    SA owners don't do this.
Sig, H&K, Ruger owners, none of them do this...
Why are Glock owners so presumptive...?
If they were correct, then why haven't the other manufacturers just closed up shop...?

I too have seen Glock owners end their posts with "EOD".

I have found that in many, if not most cases, the Glock owner who cries "EOD!" is not actually indicating that further discussion is not warranted, rather, it is a cry for help from the Explosive Ordinance Disposal crew.

It is a Glock after all. :D

Some people hated Glocks when they first came out. Glock proved themselves and these people didn't want to admit to themselves or their friends that they were wrong. Now they all own XD's.

Agree with the principle of this forum. Either you own a Glock and every other gun out there is made of Lego and/or Nerf. That is the attitude I get from decent majority of Glock owners.

However, when I visited a known east side (Indy) gun shop and said I was looking for mags for my HK USP, I was stared at like I had murdered children.

    What's with the HK haters?
