That one got me too...But I was in 6th grade, so I don't know how I'd react now.
The movies that come to mind are:
1. Old Yeller
2. Turner and Hooch
3. Brian's Song
I'm sure there are a few others, but those always come to mind when on this subject.
DEFINITELY Brian's Song
I remember them showing this on campus when I was in college and all the football players were sobbing...
That movie can be your free-pass to crying whenever you want.
Your buddy could show up at your house and you could be crying for whatever reason:
"Dude, why are you crying you p***y?"
"I just got done watching Brian's Song."
"Oh, my bad bro, I take that back."
The ending of Terminator 2.
I know now why you cry. But it is something I could nevah do.

None of those hit home with me.
Overall, the Rudy movie sucked.
Some have carried both.
The most recently memorable example comes to mind:
Such men are examples of films should be made.
...the gothy lab girl (name escapes me atm)...
The movie Red brought a tear to my eye.
'A reclusive man sets out for justice and redemption when three troublesome teens kill his dog for no good reason.'
Hadn't heard of that one. Added it to my Netflix queue. It sounds eerily similar to what happened to Marcus Luttrell, though. (VetVoice:: Degenerates Kill Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell's Dog)
Im sure that if I said Titanic I would get laughed at.
I laughed when the guy fell off and hit the prop....... and made the DONG sound........
