Went down Tuesday morning to unlock my cable and look at a ditch for a pipe for a driveway into my field. I have the lane blocked off with a cable comin from a concrete headpost over to a steel post I put in. Well someone wanted to really go mushrooming so they decided to hook a chain up to my post and bend it over. So I found a 12' I beam at the farm and put it 5' in the ground and welded some braces on to help stabilize it a little. Let's see them pull the out with a pickup.
Here's the I beam in the foreground. About 7' sticking up. Had to use the loader tractor like a hammer to get it in the last 2'.

They tear this down I'll build it bigger!

I don't know bout that. Should've seen how hard we had to hit it that last 2'. It actually would hold the front if the tractor off the ground. Better have a Spartan or SCT tune on the 6.4!

Sadly it seems there is as little respect for property in rural areas as there is on the west side of Indy. I guess to keep your stuff safe you either have to hire armed security guards or move to some place so remote there are no people around for at least 500 miles. This kind of crap really **** me off.

The only thing more annoying than Trespassers is Neighbors who think they have the Authority to tell who can and cannot access my Property...

near Bedford on a whole lot of land.
I can't believe someone would trespass & DESTROY your post:(

Yep they think they can do as they please. Until they get caught then they'll be needing bail money.

I had someone bend down the T-post holding the cable on my adjacent property, then drive over the cable. I bent the t-post back and there's a surprise for the next yahoo that tries it. And if I catch them they won't need to care about bail money.

The stupid part is that when folks have asked about mushroom hunting on my property, or hunting in general, I've almost always let them.

Nice Hickman, it looked like they were aware that you were video-ing them. I get a ton of trespassers especially during shroom season. I shut off the shrooming to people outside of employees and family because some guys last year that I gave permission to, decided to drive across planted fields. That really ticked me off. So that ruined for everyone else. I just ran into a couple guys on Thursday while I was tky hunting. I asked them nicely to leave and they did.
