I"m not so worried about ebola related to the flu, and I never used to get the shot, but I do now, as I have very little ones who could catch it from me and it would be more dangerous for them.

I used to get flu shots every season, then I would get sick anyway. Not just flu either, it would be a respiratory infection that turned into a nasty pneumonia, every time without fail. I would tell the medical professionals giving the shots about this and they would always dismiss my concerns as if I were crazy. Work required them or else I would have to go around wearing a mask all day long except to eat. (could you imagine a patient asking "why" in the back of an ambulance?) Anyway... I refused. Got a new job and LOW AND BEHOLD it's been 5+ years and I haven't been sick NOT ONCE. Still a medic. I'm still around sick people coughing in my face every day. Haven't changed a thing about me other than same work, different place, and no flu shot. Coincidence? I think not.

Pretty sure my alternator died today because I got a flu shot a few weeks ago.

    Another unnecessary victim!

Come on people, how much more evidence do you need? How many innocent alternators have to die before we stop injecting this poison into ourselves and our CHILDREN?!?? Think about the CHILDREN!!!

It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to draw this conclusion.

I used to be an actual rocket scientist.

It was, however, before I got flu shots.

I have never been an rocket scientist since I started getting flu shots. Coincidence? I think not.

My wife was suspended from work today for refusing to get a flu shot. She is suspended until she gets it and if she doesn't comply within 30 days she'll be terminated.

I assume she will be either a) getting the flu shot or b) finding a doctor who will vouch that the flu shot is contraindicated in her case.

Interesting, my wife is a nurse and she doesn't have to get it (she did) but if she doesn't, she has to sign a paper saying she didn't get it and if she gets sick, she won't come in.

Update: still not dead from my flu shot, nor have I gotten the flu. My wife says I'm a sick person still, which I can't quite figure out.

Oh, pretty sure my flu shot caused this violent argument between mbills2223 and me. It has rendered me un-rational!

Revisionist history has poisoned dictionaries, sir!

The first definition is correct. The second was added due to years of misuse! I STAND MY GROUND ON THIS ISSUE!

Plus, G Gordon Liddy said so. You want to mess with him? No, I didn't think so. Harumph!

You guys are hilarious. Perhaps it was the shot that CAUSED me to be a rocket scientist? I think my head is gonna explode.
