Can Ferguson's govt get any worse than the previous one that targeted the population to gain revenue for the city?

To get away from this, I'd like to see all fine money funneled to non-profits that help communities in various ways rather than municipal coffers.

    ...I know, pipe dreams.

    Yeah, I guess you're right.
Better no police force at all, since nothing could be worse than the previous one.
Hey, that would be like Detrot.

I'm sorry, where did I imply that Ferguson should be without a police department? And your second sentence has a logical disconnect.

I won't disagree with that, as some of their tactics are completely revenue geared

Yes. And I'm not saying it's the police dept. THE ENTIRE CITY is soaking everyone up for $$$$.

Well, you asked if the city government could get any worse, which implies you think nothing could be worse than what they had.
The police department was part of the city government.
So if nothing could be worse than what they had, then no city government, which would mean the police department, would be better, right?

If its govt couldn't get any worse, then obviously a police department with new tactics would be "better." I also specifically stated "govt," sans mentioning "police department." It is completely possible, and likely, that Ferguson would get worse without a city govt, and all accompanying departments; however I neither mentioned nor addressed such.

    I guess I misunderstood.
It sure sounded to me as if you thought the police department was part of the problem.
I guess it was just the bad city government.
