Only company I'd trust outside of this rule of thumb is AIM Surplus. They do not HPT as they claim it cuts down the expected life of the bolt by over stressing it. Their BCG's are gtg and they take good care of their customers.

    HPT/MPI C158 bolt :yesway:

I'm in the same boat. Trying to decide of I should just pick up a daniel defense m4v11 or build something similar. I'm going after quality of course but also lightweight for maneuverability. Daniel defense offers just what I want for a pretty penny of course.

Those Geissele hand guards are expensive.....but damn they are nice.

Agreed....however, the gas block and barrel nut is included along with barrel nut tool. I was considering a quad rail, but I didn't find it comfortable in my hand.

Definitely build. I went PSA and it is a great gun. Shoots great and only cost us $500 with a vortex strikefire red dot. That was a black friday deal a few years back but they still have great deals and you can customize it as needed.

Tell me you never gave them a dime! That's something they should've been able to do while you were there.

The guy who does all the part installation had something personal come up that would keep away from the business for a few weeks...they were apologetic and I know stuff happens, I don't believe they were trying to be shady.
