No comments on skill of police officer did what needed to be done.
May have issue with ammo seems like over expanding bullets might be at fault?
But hell I have seen people take a couple of .50 to the chest get up and run off trailing intestines.

There is no magic bullet that guarantees a killing shot every time. Its all about shot placement and damage done once the bullet enters the body.

I would think if I shot a dude about 10 + times center mass and he kept coming you might have a issue with you ammo.
Even FMJ 9mm should have preformed better than that. I have heard some issues with 40 S&W over expanding and only penetrating an inch or so?
But humans are sometimes much harder to kill than one would think.

You nailed it with your previous comment about tangos running off after 2 .50BMG to the chest. Similarly, bro-at-arms told me of a 20' blood trail and a syrian with 3/4 of his head at the end of it. The autopsy said the only substances found in his system were nicotene and caffeine. They must not have been counting adrenaline.

It's called Murphy's Law. Doesn't matter what caliber you pick, something won't work right.

I have seen first hand a thug shot with an SKS round running with 4 feet of intestines hanging out his back. And a Deputy shot a perp with a 45 and he was in cuffs waiting on the ambulance talking just fine

Just watched the video here. I saw a dick move. At one point he is advancing on the officer with his back to him. Forcing the officer to shoot him in the back. Hoping to get a crack at making the officer look bad by shooting him "as he ran away" further fueling racial tensions?

Unless the clips were presented out of order, this was the second time he charged the officer.
