Schitt’s Creek starts off a tad rough. I struggled with how much Moira screamed at first, but the show quickly grew on me. It’s a top favorite in our house now, right up there with The Office, Parks&Rec, etc. Well worth watching, social and political undertones not withstanding, IMO.
Do not understand how anyone can watch "The Office". That is some dumb television.

    Morning all!
B2V, it seems the key to a successful GB night is a case of Coors nearby. Also you want to win at all cost. Losing isn't an option. If you feel like not bidding any more then there is a support group within this group who will encourage you to keep going. :)

Morning folks. Had a stellar weekend. Mama got treated like a Queen. Both kids were awesome for her. She had an absolute blast.

Some might remember I started in on a custom bike build for her, well like many of us… her wants kept changing. So we ended up with a different bike, a smaller one. Originally we started building a 26” bike because that’s the most common, but it was just a tad too big for her, she doesn’t like ladies bikes, so a mens was sourced. So I traded for a 24” bike, which has always been the red headed step child of the bike world….

Long story short, she did the 18 mile ride the other day like a champ, but it was tough in a few spots. She needed a wussy gear (I do all the time)… I ended up finding a used newer bike for sale yesterday to rob some parts off of. I would have had her just ride it instead, but she felt like a “doofus” riding a newer Chinese bike… So we stole the nice Shimano Nexus 3 speed hub wheel set off it. It was supposed to have been a 24” bike, but when we got there it was a 26”. No fret. I had heard they could be squeezed in there…

So she ended up with a 1955 Schwinn Spitfire, DX model frame (double curve top bar), 24” boys bike, in green and cream. Custom fitted 26” wheels, fenders won’t fit anymore (which is fine because they were seriously messed up). She’s not a fender fan anyway… I will spend some time at some point maybe cutting down and fitting up a set of “bobbed” fenders.

Bike rides incredible and she loves it!

    Morning folks

Range trip today, centerfire rifle only. If there are no issues, this should a pausing point for these rifles until I get out to further distance at Bass N Bucks in Wabash (when mcapo can make time for his adopted son :)).

Two main goals here: 1) Achieve smaller group sizes with new Protektor rests and 3" wide front bag rider setup, while shooting from a concrete bench (increased stability). 2) Establish zero and required elevation adjustments (DOPE) at 200 and 300 yards.

    Howa 1500 6.5CM
    - Precision check at 100 yards (140gr Hornady ELDM, 42.5gr of H4350, ~2818 fps)

    Bergara B-14 HMR .308WIN
    - Precision check at 100 yards with 2 different loads. This is a redo from my last time out, was not happy with results. (155gr ELDM, 43gr Varget @ ~2590fps and 47.5gr Varget @ ~2894fps)

    Howa 1500 Mini Action .223REM
    - Zero rifle at 100 yards with 2 different loads, then establish elevation adjustments at 200/300 yards. (69gr SMK 21.8gr @ ~3000fps, 73gr ELDM 21.8gr H4895 @ ~2628fps)
    - This rifle also has a new chassis (MDT Oryx) and rear bag rider that I'll be trying out for the first time.

    Noveske 5.56 AR
    - Bullet seating depth test at 100 yards to establish least amount of horizontal spread. (80gr ELDM 21.8gr H4895 @ ~2600fps)
    - Zero rifle at 100 yards and then establish elevation adjustment at 200/300 yards. (73gr ELDM 22.1gr H4895 @ ~2620fps)

Do I need to put some more numbers and bullet points in my post to get that title back?

That would help. Maybe a bold highlight here and there?

It made for nice presentation of his day. I’m a little disappointed he didn’t include his lunch plans but I guess I can’t have everything.
