Henry MSRP is 1057.00, lever actions just aren't cheap anymore, even Rossi's.How do they compare versus the Henry’s?
Guess it’s too soon to speculate about quality versus the two?Henry MSRP is 1057.00, lever actions just aren't cheap anymore, even Rossi's.
Too soon to do so with any authority, or the benefit of actual experience, but I image that won't stop a few folks.Guess it’s too soon to speculate about quality versus the two?
That's why I've put them on the back burner until things hopefully calm down some.Henry MSRP is 1057.00, lever actions just aren't cheap anymore, even Rossi's.
Indeed the court of public opinion is a force to be reckoned with.Too soon to do so with any authority, or the benefit of actual experience, but I image that won't stop a few folks.
I've said it before and I'll say it again^All I can say is I'm glad I got the Marlins I have when I did.

Yeah but how many manufacturers make a quality lever action versus how many manufacturers make AR’s. Tends to drive prices way down because at the end of the day an AR is pretty much an Ar just like the other guy is selling. Gimmicks and gadgets is what separates most of them. The upper end ones demand a higher price but you get a better made AR.Never thought I’d see the day a lever action Marlin would be twice the price of a decent entry level AR (S&W Springfield etc)
I get there has been a rise in cost of raw materials but to got from 459 ish dollars for a Marlin in 2018 to 1,200 by a “Ruger” Marlin in 2023 just don’t add up.Yeah but how many manufacturers make a quality lever action versus how many manufacturers make AR’s.
