    460 WM is a good way from 50 BMG, but I think aiming and shooting a 50 BMG gun from the shoulder would be harder to do. That's a guess on my part having limited experience with 50 BMG guns.
    Personal experience with 50 BMG was thru Ma Deuce, off of the tactical beer can Hummer gun truck platform….will easily take out herd of elephants….after leveling Iraqi homes, known as mud (brick) huts, while causing permanent hearing loss; which the boss (aka the wife) can attest to…..but the percussion of M-2……

    (up) M-2, not as refined as a T-Dogg touched Masada, BUT the sound!!!! If you don’t kill them with 647 grains of FMJ, the sound will make them pray to Allah, and wish they were 10 feet under those rapidly deteriorating mud abodes…. Once again….. MA-Deuce!!!!
    :biggun::biggun:
    (Wish the gun funds weren’t depleted by Bidenomics and sick pay….or I’d be buying a T-Dogg tuned Masada!!!)

    In the country, hopefully.
    Get those dang beans in, then rest for a while ! It'll happen if we wish it so !
    Thankfully beans are done.
    On to corn now, corn is higher moisture than we’ve dealt with for years but fortunately we have a new to us dryer that is finally performing well.

    Supposed to be hauling corn all day, but was pulling out after dumping and heard on the radio from 2 miles away the combine guy say to the grain cart guy “grab your fire extinguisher!” Then radio silence. So I backed up and jumped in the water truck and played fire fighter for a bit.

    Thankfully it was minor but you never know!

    We refilled it and brought it to the next field with us. All in a day.

    .
    Finally got that hardware screw out of the Marlin. Had to grind the head off and drill in from the other side of the tang. Kroil, heat, and an easy out finally got the job done.

    I think I'm going to replace it with an Allen cap screw and make a tool for it out of a shortened Allen wrench. The original screw is in sort of a tough place to get to. Everything is hidden inside the stock so this should not compromise the appearance.
