      Pistol sight tool needed.

Just did this on my M&P 40. The set screw was put in with lock tite. Heating it up with a soldering iron will break down the lock tite and allow the screw to come out without stripping it. After that it was easy to knock the sight out with a brass drift.

      Ordering online question.

I've bought 3 guns from buds and am awaiting the arrival of my 4th any day. It is no problem at all but I have learned a few things. 1, when you purchase buds has a list of local FFLs to choose from. These are FFLs that buds has there information on file because they have accepted transfers...

      singing the double charge blues

Thank you for posting. It is a good reminder to be diligent. I had the opposite happen, I had a round get way undercharged and lodged a bullet in the barrel. Thankfully a good RO at the bowling pin shoot caught it and nothing bad happened. But it gave me a wake up call.

I really messed up and stripped the screw.

AllenM saves the day. He had the screw milled out and the sight off of the slide in 5 min. I followed his advice and heated the remainder of the screw up with a soldering iron and was able to get the pieces out and salvage the the threads. Allen is the man.

I really messed up and stripped the screw.

I was removing the rear sight on my m&p 40 and while trying to remove the set screw I stripped it. I'm not the original owner of this gun and it has some aftermarket sights on it. When I tried to remove the screw with a 1/16 hex I thought it felt like it was turning but I was just rounding off...

      Thought I had a source

Your friend probably also realized the huge liability he would be in for If you or someone else did something negligent with some ammo he sold you.

      Xtreme hollow point bullets

I have some 9mm 147 gr xtreme in both the hp and rn and the hp seems to be more accurate. I use them for plinking and steel shooting and they are my favorite to put in front of 3.6 gr of titegroup

      Froglube advice wanted

I've ordered an APEX comp. kit and while I'm installing it I think it will be a good time to do a deep clean and switch to froglube. They have several products to choose from. I was thinking of getting the paste, but I also see they have a CLP and a solvent. To those that are using it now...

      I found powder!

I will buy primers or powder if I see it and have the $, even if I don't need it now. I'm not hoarding, it's because I can get all my other components on line whenever I need them. The hazmat fees make primers and powder cost to much.
