      Can a buffing wheel on a Dremel remove steel?

      I tried my Dremel on an old AR15 trigger and I swear it removed steel without even putting any polishing compound on the felt. Is this possible (or maybe I just didn't notice it before I buffed the trigger) ? :dunno: louielouie:popcorn:
