      Letter from info@barackobama.com

The administration has been sticking to that sound bite for the last few weeks. Every time I hear it, I keep thinking "How many lives will be lost because you took protection from someone and they didn't have a firearm when they needed it." The double standard is mind bottling.

NRA's latest add involving Obama's kids

One of the house democrats (I can't find the quote now) called the ad "dangerous" and that protecting the Presidents children was a "matter of National security." I don't wish anything bad on the Presidents children, but how is informing the public that his children have armed secret service...

      And so it begins...

How about adding that 16 and 17 are violating HIPAA. And that 7, 8, and 12 are things that the NRA already does, and has offered to expand doing for FREE for the american people.

New York Senate Gun Control Bill Released

Does anyone else see some large law suits coming due to the absolutely ginormous HIPAA violations that this law would require on the part of mental health professionals?

      Background Check Poll - WSJ

Removing the "the Federal government can not regulate intrastate commerse" loophole can not be done without the registration of firearms. And if they do pass a law requiring all transactions to be through an FFL, it will then be followed by registration because "shockingly" closing the loophole...

      40% of gun sales

I read it yesterday on a news story. The number is from the Brady Campaign. I found the information on their website, but it makes no mention of how they came up with their number. "Since the Brady Bill was passed in 1994, Brady background checks have prevented 1,631,000 attempts by...

Pete Visclosky is meeting THIS MONTH all over NW Indiana. Show up.

I'll be at the Valpo City Hall tomorrow evening to ask him some questions on gun control. Anyone in the area, please come out and lets see if we can at least put him on the hot seat.

What I've bought since the panic buying started.

The only thing I have bought to support the panic is update my NRA membership early. I also panic bought some stamps to make sure I can continue sending a letter a week to our representatives in Washington.

INGO hits the road: NW IN Gun Shop Tour - 12/28/12

They're pulling everyone off I-65 at route 2 (exit 240). Overturned semi north of the exit has all northbound lanes closed. Fortunately, Route 2 will take you straight into Valpo.

Pete Visclosky Response to my call

Not that this is a big shocker from Rep. Visclosky, but here it is. For those who don't know, he is the representative for district 1 (Lake and Porter County) and is a democrat. I'll let you reserve your own judgement, but I did tell him my concerns that the Second Amendment was designed to...

Buy any guns now or wait?

From my experience going to the LGS last night to watch the frenzy and see what was left: AR/AK/Magazines - Still available but going quickly. low priced guns were gone. Sales people were telling customers when they expected more firearms in. No reserving. They still had some Pmags, but not a...
