Just wanted to share the things I have spent money on since the panic buying started....

    1. Renew my LTCH to lifetime.
    2. Bought another Beretta 92FS.
    3. Bought a threaded barrel for above mentioned 92FS.
    4. Paid for my membership to join the NRA.
    5. Bought a can of CLP.

The only other thing I plan to do is buy a suppressor when 21st Century has them in stock. But I planned on doing that before the panic buying madness ensued. Does it sound like I have been in a buying frenzy? :D

Not really, I did very much the same thing-

Am renewing my LTCH to lifetime
Renewed my NRA 10yr lapsed membership
Bought an AR kit cause I missed my m16 (pre tragedy- good buy)
Bought a PPS 9mm for lighter carry (post tragedy- good buy)
Helped my son get an AR (mild private panic price)
    Dusted off my collection
Looking to expand that collection with some 1911 derivatives.

If anything, the "panic" has only gotten me back into the sport a bit deeper.

Hunting has not waned for over 30 years so I never really left, just amped it up a bit.

The only thing I have bought to support the panic is update my NRA membership early. I also panic bought some stamps to make sure I can continue sending a letter a week to our representatives in Washington.

I didn't have an AR, so I figured I'd better jump when I saw prices start to go crazy and stock start to dwindle. I managed to get in on the last of Ranier Arms' stock before they sold out of everything. I'm planning on picking my AR up today. :)

    1. DDM4v5 300 blk (at regular price)
    2. Troy fixed sights
    3. 4 GI mags ($10 ea)
    4. 10 PMAGs ($10 ea)
    5. NRA membership
    6. GOA membership

    Next on my list:
    Reloading setup and dies

I don't consider it "panic buying" - more that I moved up the purchases of my 'bucket list' of guns. These were already on the "to-buy list....

    I've bought:

    Beretta 92FS
    CZ SP-01
    CZ P-01 (+1 extra mag)
Sig P229 Elite Stainless (+1 extra mag)
    Sig P226 Elite Stainless

The only thing I'd consider "panic buying" would be the additional 2,000 rounds of 9mm I didn't necessarily 'need' - more that I didn't want to be forced to buy a little here and there should it become scarce (which it's thinned out quite a bit at discount places like Walmart).

Regardless of what it's all called, there's nothing wrong with buying what you want if you've got the means. Hey, we all know the prices of guns don't go down as the years go by...

I did not buy a thing. I would still like to pick up some 3rd generation night vision and some more MREs and freeze dried food and maybe some more first aid supplies and I really do need to make those acquisitions with what does seem to be coming down the road at us in a runaway truck. I just refuse to get caught up in this mad rush to pay the idiotic prices that people are asking for their guns. Boy it is too bad that so many of us have lost all of our firearms in boating accidents. We were once sitting on a gold mine at todays prices.

    Oh shoot,

I did forget about becoming an ingo site supporter :)

    I also bought about 540 rounds of .223 and 6, 30rnd mags pre-panic.

    Oh, and post-panic,

became a member of several other gun list sites

a Tapco tactical stock set for my 10-22 w/ several 30 rounders

and a Mosin with composite stock

    and about six tactical flashlights

and a laser for my pps

    and a..

oh hell, I just might be panicking after all :draw:

Ordered my AR a few days before the 'election' and got it a few days after. I had already purchased mags and ammo so I have missed out on paying these inflated prices.

I did pick up 100 rounds of .380 for my Bersa Thunder, my EDC.

Bought some more targets to use at home with my Crosman M4-177. Also picked up 1000 more pellets for the M4.

um... That's it. Not really panic purchases as I had been planning on getting an AR.

Now, if the weather would only warm back up...
