      Binary trigger

I had a bunch of the Black Dog translucent mags for the .22 ARs, and every one of them cracked at the feed lips. The replacements that Black Dog sent cracked too. So I junked them and bought the CMMG mags, which have proven to be nigh indestructible.

Kalashnikov KR-9 9MM "Vitiaz" Now Shipping

There was a time when I would've done unseemly things for this gun. But after years of false starts, vaporware and quality issues from K-USA, I'm over it. My CZ Scorpion will do me just fine, and if I do get a hankerin for an AK-platform 9mm, Palmetto State's AK-V that uses the same mags as the...

TFT - Essentials of Indiana Gun Law. Anyone else going tomorrow?

Saturday's class is full, but we are bringing Guy back for an encore presentation on Saturday 11/10, and it's only about half sold out at this point. https://www.indyarms.com/event/essentials-of-indiana-gun-law-7/

      Belts..

Daltech Super BioBelt here, too. Have worn one daily for 2 years now and it only shows a few minor scuffs where my holster rides. Structurally, it's just as good as the day I got it - no warping, curling, finish leaching, etc. I love the rigidity - put your stuff on, tighten the belt and you...

      Q Cans

Q cans are pretty hot right now, and pricing seems to reflect it. I have handled some of their stuff, but have not shot them to find out if the juice is worth the squeeze, as they say. But I expect that, coming from Kevin Brittingham (of AAC, then later SIG Sauer suppressors), they are solid.

AR barrel unscrewed from barrel extension?

With barrels as cheap as they are now, no point trying to save it. Your buddy should just chuck it and buy a new one. Out of curiosity, what brand is the barrel in question?

SIG gutting their classic 226/229 product lines

Thankfully, I think we're on the downslope of that trend with SIG. Their "discontinued" pages are FULL of models with silly cosmetics that they made for like a week, then dropped. Diamondplate, Spartan, Mastershop Series, oh my!

SIG gutting their classic 226/229 product lines

I expect that within the next several years, SIG will discontinue all their hammer-fired metal-framed "Classic Series" guns due to a combination of rising manufacturing costs and sagging sales. They might keep the SP2022 around awhile longer, but otherwise it's going to be all P320 and P365, all...

      Safariland ALS vs GLS?

BIG Safariland ALS fan, here. Wear one at work every day, and also have one on my battle belt for range and class use. We sell a lot of the 578 GLS holsters at the shop because they are one size fits many (including some real oddballs that would otherwise be hard to find a good holster for)...

      Savage MSR 10 Hunter experience?

The lead engineer on the Savage MSR project is a good friend and former INGO'er. Buy with confidence. :) The stock furniture and proprietary parts are minor issues, and ones that would be present to some degree in just about any production .308 AR, regardless of manufacturer.

A Few Nice Words About Ruger Customer Service

Of all the gunmakers I've had the opportunity to deal with in my 20-year career in the business, Ruger and S&W easily have the best CS departments. You can always get an English-speaking human being on the phone, they will send out small parts without hassle, will send prepaid return labels for...
