I've done grip reductions and trigger guard grooves with stippling. I've found that if you have any artistic background you can do better than most you pay to do it. Start doing it yourself and you start to realize that a lot of stipple jobs that people do aren't very good.
I carry a 9c (apex per trigger, night sights, etc) and I went through a few different holsters before landing on the gcode/incog holster. Along with my 5.11 carry belt (looks like a normal business casual belt) this carry set up melts away in the waistband.
It seems that there is a pretty big gap between 2a members and the LGBT community and I really think this could be a good thing. I'll be interested to see if something like this could create more sheep dogs and less sheep. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.
In Iraq we used sand and a sock. I have a nicer bag made from nylon that I filled with sand that I use now, but my socks lasted a year before I traded up. Never had any issues with leaking sand. My instructor was against using rice due to bugs and if the sock ever got wet, but I never tried it...
