      Sig Sauer 2022 & other 9mms at the range

      I'm still looking for a better gun than my 2022 but so far haven't had any luck. It's by far my favorite.

      FFL Transfer Fee rates in Lafayette

      I believe that Haley's, Four Guns, and RamZ's all do it for 20. Though I think RamZ's could be 15, but I'm not positive on this.

      Bought my first sig today

      I'm really wanting a M11A1, though I get the feeling I'll regret that laser etch on the top. Love my SP2022 though, got it on gunbroker for 250 with a 100 dollar Sig laser.

      Buying on line

      A few of my local friends have had issues with Bud's so I've steered away from them. Though from what I remember it had to do with their customer service on the off chance things go wrong. I haven't had any issues personally so take what I said with a grain of salt. I would recommend J&G Sales...

      Honestly it defeats the purpose of concealed carry. Why conceal when you have a shiny piece of metal saying you're carrying?

      Another Gander Mountain Rant.

      Can you really expect a store like Gander Mountain or Cabela's to always hire people with tact? The same could be said about small gun shops where the owner doesn't trust anything made out of "tupperware".

      New Walther PPS M2 Leaked

      I always liked the PPS trigger, though it was rather ugly IMO. The M2 solved that among other things and now I want one. =(

      Bungee Holster... WTH??

      The whole "distraction generator" part of the "holster" was kinda silly. Though to play devil's advocate here, I believe the target audience here is for people who would just tuck the gun in their waistband and think it's alright. Or those who use the kydex trigger cover only holsters.

      Gun Shop Etiquette

      If I don't want to pay that price I won't. But if I'm impatient or want to know it's acceptable quality beforehand then I'll gladly pay the premium. Not having to wait has a price for itself.

      Does a passenger have a duty to inform?

      I don't see any contradictions, afterall, it does say "may". Also, if the placard isn't displayed you're technically not prohibited from carrying. But since it's law that it has to be displayed, you can't carry. At least that's my interpretation of it.

      Maybe not what you're expecting, but I like to go to Cabela's gun room from time to time to see the gems they acquire. Sure they're asking too much, but at least you get to look.

      Best indoor range I've been to. I regularly go there to practice with my carry weapons.
