      Rossi Circuit Judge, shooting experience?

Possibly the 1st revolving shotgun in a 100 years. I vaguely remember seeing the ancient prototype at a gun show, shotgun or centerfire not sure. Many sit on the fence because this one is so new. Then it's a Taurus, probably Colt would have sold this gun faster. 45LC ammo is a little hard to get...

      Rossi Circuit Judge, shooting experience?

Circuit Judge: First Hearing Shot 45LC round nose. Was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy. The tiny fiberoptic sights were perfectly centered right out of the box. I did not bench rest the gun, it is not a target rifle, did not want to spend too much ammo. (It is $.70 a pop on a good day)...

      ACME Sports in Seymour

How do they sell long-distance? I wouldn't mind skipping a round trip to Seymour if possible.

I've seen them at the Indy 1500 (coming again next wknd), Gander Mountain, and Whittaker's in Owensboro, KY.

      The Outdoorsman

Right on regarding the prices. Nobody owes us low prices. Buying cheap is not an entitlement.:baby: Nor is owning a quality gun. We are forced to pay more because there isn't enough competition in firearms sales. Big stores and chains drive the prices down. But for one reason or another, most of...

What kind of LTCH do I need?

So there is a target license, market share 0.3%. Thanks! To all: the statutes are hardly ever cut and dried, that's how lawyers stay in business, and we have blogs. Can anyone point to a case in Indiana where a citizen got arrested and convicted specifically and only for carrying a handgun in...

What kind of LTCH do I need?

I'll be darn... My LTCH does not say unlimited or anything. Section 2 says dwelling, business, or place of repair. If you have not been convicted of domestic battery (Sec 1), I don't see why you need any exemptions as listed in Section 2. Just going to the range officer. But I see your point...

What kind of LTCH do I need?

You cannot carry a handgun on or about your person, if you have been convicted of domestic battery (IC 35-47-2-1). This restriction does not apply to "any person while carrying a handgun unloaded and in a secure wrapper from the place of purchase to his dwelling (...) or a place of repair". (IC...

What kind of LTCH do I need?

In Indiana you can transport your gun, but only inoperable (there may be a finer legal term). That being unloaded, action open, padlocked, no ammo in the same compartment, locked in the safe or trunk, concealed from plain view, yada yada, in short rendered impossible to discharge. I agree...

      List of Indiana Gun Shops

Elmore's on the Internet +1 for Elmore's in Greenwood. Great selection and well displayed - makes you wanna hang out longer. Until you get smoked out - literally. I went to the door for air. Something they should know. Elmore's web site is blacklisted by Google for malware. You are warned...

Micro Desert Eagle or other .380

The Kahr seems like a solid pocket companion. Just a fraction longer than my Eagle but lighter. I haven't seen either one used in resale, ever. Can't go wrong with a Sig. It is pretty, too, but calls for a holster. It is interesting that you mentioned a long grip/short barrel 9 mm. I can't name...

      tikka t3

Mine is Varmint .223 blue. I am sure nothing is wrong with a .270 assuming it is hefty enough. Mine is precise as could be and better than this shooter. You already know you've got the smoothest bolt action $700 can buy. Shot about 200 rounds, no hiccups on the cheapest Brown Bear ammo. If you...
