      Bug Bite ID

Got 'em Wednesday night at a friend's house. Have over dozen all over my legs. Not mosquitos because I was wearing jeans and have some higher up than they could have flown. Fleas or Chiggers? Itch like crazy.

      WTS/WTT: 20gauge ammo (99 rounds). $10 or 9mm, 12ga, 44mag, or 223 ammo (Bloomington)

**********T R A D E D************** Bought the wrong box of ammo at Wal-mart. It's the standard Federal birdshot stuff sold in the boxes of 100 (with 4 boxes of 25 inside). I'll sell for a paltry 10$ cash or any of the following of any plinker brand: 50 rounds of 9mm 100 rounds of 12 gauge...

      Tennessee bans "offensive" bumper stickers

This. Or, how about some religion bumper stickers? That should be fun. Every atheist bumper sticker offends me, every Christian bumper sticker offends you. Good times.

Saiga Rifle (Any caliber) or possibly some other Post-Ban rifle config.

Moving to a "People's Republic" state and want to buy a post-ban-type rifle to bring with me. Don't have a lot of cash -- would prefer a Saiga but would consider another low-end AR or AK style if it is Post-Ban config or similar. Thanks.

Man this is some bad weather!

Confirmed touch-down near 6000 W. SR 46 in Bloomington. That's a little west of Wal-Mart. Up on West 3rd st. is clear. Reported flipped mobile homes.

      WTS: Polish Tantal 5.45x39 sidefolder AK-74 w/ammo -- Bloomington

For all you homegamers out there we shouldn't clutter up the Buy & Sell forum with Tantal talk, but here are the goods: It is a CAI, the serial is Y002XXX. All my research said it should be in the good serial range, but the targets don't lie. Any future Tantal discussion should go in other...

      Upcoming Utah Classes?

Google and Yahoo don't know where Sunland is. I'm guessing it's further from Bloomington than Indy is so it wouldn't work for me. I'm also guessing I wouldn't want to pay whatever you'd charge for a private class...

      Upcoming Utah Classes?

Bump, I'm looking, too. I'd prefer somewhere between Martinsville and Bedford...

Carrying While Dancing; G26 Belt Holster = Fail?

I think a Derringer or LCP is in my future...alas, probably not in the next 2 hours. Yeah I missed that one. Wasn't thinking there. I'd borrow a Smartcarry, but, yeah, not thunderwear. Groom's friends would not have an issue -- bride's friends are a different matter. I'm sure some of them...

Carrying While Dancing; G26 Belt Holster = Fail?

Umm...no. LCP is a good suggestion. Not gonna buy a new gun for this, but this is the kind of situation it would be useful. I don't have a pocket holster, so pocket carry is an issue, plus vigorous swing dancing is going to make a 2 lb. brick in my pocket kinda obvious. I'm not sure how that...

Carrying While Dancing; G26 Belt Holster = Fail?

So I'm going to a wedding tomorrow. The reception is going to have swing dancing (which the bride and groom are into). I'm good friends with the groom and he's asked me to dance the the reception to try to help other guests feel free to dance, too. I'm going to be carrying at the wedding (Glock...

A guy on Youtube uses a slingshot to launch bullets into ballistics gelatin

Yeah it's not clear exactly how big that piece of gelatin is. It looks like maybe 8 inches? Pushing a metal projectile through 8 inches of tissue may not be "reliably lethal" but it certainly would be "often lethal."

Busted a virgin shooters cherry tonight

Good job. Safety is definitely of highest importance. One thing that may help for next time (and, heck, you may have done it this time, I just couldn't tell from your writeup) is to show the shooter what to do with the gun when he is done with the magazine/ready for a break/etc. Stand right...

      RINO Hunting, Coats Update

Repped. Way to go, man. I love your Question #2 at the end.
    18. IUGradStudent

      Dan Coats in Lafayette, 5/07

Can't make it up there, but please ask him whether he plans on voting for any further gun bans if he is elected.

      Child tax credit

Any government has a vested interest in seeing that the people in their country have children. Without children, the society will die off in the long-run. Take a look at how things are going in Russia, Italy, Spain, Japan, etc. Scary demographics happening there. Here is a nice primer from Mark...
