My dad just had this fixed on his 50hp oil injected Mercury. Seems to be a VERY common problem. It has a float type sensor in the tank and they get gummed up and stuck. Fix is to replace the tank and to never let the oil lever get below half.
If you choose to say nothing, like the NRA has done at past tragedies, then that becomes it's own scandal. 'The NRA social media has been silent since the horrific events last week'
And of course this whole story will die in the 'conspiracy theory right-wing underground media' and never be brought to light. It doesn't fit the narrative.
Slightly better mileage beats greatly increased chance for spun bearings every time! Lol
On the flip side, I guess I wouldn't have made all that money swapping engines in vans and JKs if Chrysler put the correct oil in them.....
The theory that I have is long, but the short version is that Chrysler in an attempt to get their fuel economy numbers up switched the oil viscosity from 10w-30 to 5w-20. This is normal for manufacturers to do this, but they normally tighten up their tolerances to take advantage of the thinner...

It looks like it's the guy from Colorado they were talking about last fall. He is back in Indiana on the failure to register charges.
I heard on the radio this morning that they are investigating a 'person of interest' that was picked up on a failure to register as a sex offender charge. Can't find link, will post once I find it.
I don't post much because I don't feel that I have much to add to the conversation most of the time. .308 battle rifles/DMR is one of those areas where I can add though.
My .308 adventure started with a RFB, never could get comfortable with the fact that I had to adjust the gas for different...
I was just stopping in to post this as well. I was driving past and saw the Clinton County Animal Control truck on the side of the road with its flashers on and drove past a large bird on the side of the road. I saw a tuft of white hair and knew what it had to be.
I'm up to about a dozen little ones. None in my 'normal' spots. Found a few out in the middle of my yard which was odd, I think that may mean that the soil temps in the deep woods where I normally find them aren't high enough yet for the mother lode! In years past I could walk back to the...
