Right? That is why I was kinda confused. Had to jump through hoops just to get the permit, and now that I have moved, the are all like: It's fine! Do whatever you want.
Okay thanks for the info, much appreciated. Assuming I fill out the form, will I get a new copy of the paperwork I am supposed to carry with it when transporting with my new address?
Sorry, I should have been more specific. I moved within the state. Do you happen to know which form I need to fill out? I have looked at the ATF's site, but get confused as to which one I need.
So...I moved. Like, awhile ago. And I did not even think about the fact that I have a suppressor. What do I do now? Is there a form I need to fill out with the ATF? If so, which one? Am I facing some troubles by not telling them in a timely manor? Also, side note, I would like to sell it...
Hello,
I moved awhile back and without even thinking about it, I moved without getting permission from the ATF to move my suppressor. Now, I think I do not have to have their permission, however, I do think I need to inform them that my address has changed. Does anyone have the experience of...
I've been to Point Blank in Carmel. I hope that person doesn't decide to go when I'm there. If you're not comfortable with a loaded firearm, please don't carry. Especially around me.
Thanks Jeremiah. I thought that is what it meant. I saw a couple posts for people selling and wanted to see it. Is that the standard practice? I will be selling a couple guns soon.
I have my Dads 10/22. Love it. I love that you can get one of the BX-25 mags and just shoot. I do have a bolt action that I like a lot too. I think it is a Savage Mark II. That thing is great too, but I have a Leupold scope and a suppressor on it. I had the barrel threaded on the Ruger...
I have a bolt action Savage. Can't remember the exact model. I want to say it is a Mark II. Anyway, I think its my favorite gun. I put a Leupold scope on it. That with the the suppressor makes it a great gun to shoot. I would recommend getting some sub-sonic ammo to run though. My...
My buddy is in the market for a SIG P320. I haven't shot one myself, but he has and said he loves it. They are comfortable in the hand and he says quit accurate. I'll stick to carrying my Glock.
I'm so lazy when it comes to cleaning my toys. I do it only when I feel its necessary. I do try to clean my 1911 after every couple times out and I hardly every clean my Glocks. I shot probably 800 rounds through one of my Glocks and had zero issues. In fact, It has only had a eject issue...
I have a Kimber Custom Carry II and love it. I have a friend that really likes his range officer. I don't think you can go too wrong with a 1911. Stay away from Rock Island though.
Thanks for the info guys. I had heard that glock doc was bad news, but not until it was too late. I think I will be du pin that one and replace it with a factory 23. I will not let him work on my pistols again!
Of course its a investment! What else can you buy that you will be able to sell and get most if not all of your money back? Depending on what you invest in, they actually could make you money! Guess I have a problem too....
Wanted to go, but it suck up on me. Will try to attend the fall one. I have never been, but a couple of my friends and I keep talking about going. Now I am in the market for my first machine gun too, so hopefully they will have some inventory.
