Where did you OC today thread: Part 2

Me too. The girl from Bloomington thought my comment was the funniest thing ever. It's always good to put people a little more at ease around gun carriers

Where did you OC today thread: Part 2

One more (it's been a week) I was up in Boswell today at the auction and met a guy from Africa (seriously), he approached me and said, "I have to ask you a question." I started laughing cuz I knew what was coming. He says, "you can just carry a gun around like that here?" So I explained to him...

Where did you OC today thread: Part 2

Another one Friday afternoon. Went into a gas station I frequent and there was a new girl working. Still fresh in town from Bloomington and she said to her friend, "why does he have a gun?" She said, "he's always got his gun, never seen him without it" I pretend I didn't hear it and go to pay...

Where did you OC today thread: Part 2

Walked into subway here in Brazil last night and there were 3 county sheriff deputies and a city sitting at a table, my wife, 5 year old little girl and I walked in and every eye was immediately on me. I acknowledged them, nodded my head and walked up to the counter. Not a word was said by anyone.

      Respect for LEOs

A lot of the guys and women are that way. That's a big reason why I'm trying to get into it. I'm that kind of guy, I'd do anything for kids to put a smile on their face.

The Official Status Update Thread: Part 138 - Disenchanted Lullaby

We put up over 50 quarts of pickles out of our melon patch and hundreds of tomatoes which don't stay in the bowl long enough to make anything out of. Half dozen watermelon and 5 cantaloupe. Potatoes died early, tomatoes are still going strong, carrots are still in the ground, peppers didn't get...

Lol. That put a well needed smile on my face. That's hilarious. Mine is from Brazil. The country, not the city. It resides in Brazil the city now.

Potato packs? My favorite thing ever. Diced Redskins, onion, butter, some garlic, salt, and pepper double wrapped in tin foil and put right on the coals of the fire. If they're being served with beef, I'll throw in some mushrooms too.

My daughter and I just had Mac and cheese for lunch. Easy and quick. She won't eat the red beans and rice because its too spicy for her. I can't get her to do anything. She won't mow the grass, she won't get a job, she won't drive me around town. I dunno what I'm gonna do with her.

Yeah, the last guy asked if it was a Smith and Wesson. I said, "No, but it's a 40 Smith and Wesson caliber." He went on jabbering about he doesn't carry but there's so much crime these days and things are getting crazy. I was on a security detail so I excused myself and told him I had to go.

Cooking up a 6 quart crock pot of red beans and rice. Everything is coming together and starting to smell amazing. I hate it when you think you have all the ingredients for something and then go to make it and find out you only have 1 ingredient. Had the beans, no rice, then couldn't find my...

I always OC and I never leave my house without my pistol. Never had anyone say anything cross to me about it. Had a couple people ask me what it is or try to guess, but nobody has gotten it right yet.

OPEN INGO SHOOT SEPTEMBER 13 @ProTEQ in Brazil!

Yes, sorry. Have kids all weekend. Don't quite trust them around that many people and guns yet. My 5 year old is pretty well behaved but we're still getting her accustomed to being around guns firing and I don't want her freaking out just yet.
