Anderson Manufacturing Builds (Mostly)--Rough day at the range-Taunted by turkey

Head space, I run anderson parts and I've had the same issue with tullammo, get gauges and check it. Also, some of that cheap steel cased ammo is going to a bi-metal jacket ( steel copper mix) which will definetly shorten your barrel life.

Mini 14 accuracy (new 58x-xxxxx heavier barrel)

You might be able to shrink that group a little, but minute of paper plate is what they are known for. Even the "match" model won't out shoot a decent ar, due to the terrible harmonics of the piston I assume. But like everyone eles I love them too, just something about a wood stocked semi-auto...

      Sub guns

      rock island 10mm

Like most all ria's , you will probably need to do some tuning to get a new to run well. Nothing big, polishing or possibly reshaping the feed ramp, mine had a large bur inside the spring plug that needed addressed, and as always a wilson combat spring kit is a great investment.

      Troll Time!

I often wounder who the first Internet troll was, and why his/her rabble rousing personality spread so violently through every single forum on the internet. Is it because their mother didn't love them? Voice too meager to be heard in person? that their opinions hold no weight in their own...

very nice. How exactly do you tune the magazines?

      DRT ammo .223

All of the above as opposed to shooting poorly. I have been shooting 1 minute groups with regularity out of a 20" 1-7 twist. This is not lead core ammo, it had a frangable core that is significantly lighter than lead. You end up with a very long 55gr bullet. I did disassemble one but haven't...

      DRT ammo .223

Anyone use this stuff? I bought a few hundred rounds on sale a while ago to hunt coyote with and wow that stuff shoots well.

      Shield Vs. PPS

Well the title should say it all. I own a PPS and carry it every day and for some reason I feel the need to buy a shield. are they better?

      BCI AR-15

I bought one of these a month ago, the pro model, I like it but I feel it's some what over priced especially if you compare it to say an Armalite of the same price point. Anyone else on here have one?

      Mossy JM Pro

I have owned one for a little over a year now, the 24" model. I like it, it's proven to be very reliable. Hell I feed it the winchester AA low recoil low noise shells and it runs fine. I always here it's a crap shotgun from guys who don't own one. Have any of you guys had problems with yours?

      40 better than 9 ?

I like the input, I'm still not convinced that I'm less of a man for shooting a 9mm but thats a good thing :):
