That's an awesome tip. I'm getting the marshmallows out! Rocky's days are numbered.

      Stout Field Gun Show

Thanks for posting this - more digestible than the 1500. I had not gone for 10 years until the spring show. it had not changed much at all. there's something to be said about familiarity.

      Heated work/ski gloves

Battery powered gloves don't work better than the hot hands chemical pouches. Electric motorcycle gloves work well but need to be plugged into the 12v system on the bike. Military mitts hands kept my hands warm to about -35F when I lived in Canada. Adding a hot hand pouch would make them warmer.

      Horseradish

Does horseradish grow feral in Indiana? I had some in my old garden that I planted from a root I bought at Kroger and it did well. I foolishly did not take a start when I moved. I have not scouted for any but should be easy to pick out. Ilove fresh horseradish. Just don't peek into the...

Need help with getting gun reblued?

What would the cost difference be between reblueing a revolver vs cerakoting? That cerakote job looks awesome

Wonder if this is the year to invest in ice fishing gear?

I get nervous when temps go above 32 and then refreeze. The ice gets weird and grainy and I don't trust it. When I lived in Manitoba Canada it would get below freezing and stay there for months. You could tow out a shed with the truck and falling through would not cross anybody's mind. There...

      Need land management help

I had a similar situation when I move in to my house but only had to deal with 3 acres. Easier to deal with when the leaves haven't popped as one can walk around quickly and less chance to get poison ivy. Lopping shears and an axe for the bigger ones. Every time I went for walk, I chopped and...

Not sure if this fits here but

My friend lives in town and saw clothes hanging from trees down by the creek at the back of the property. Having young kids he didn't want to confront and just called the local police. They came by and collected him and his belongings. Don't think he was arrested but got the point he wasn't...

      Carpenter bees

Sevin dust around the holes or sevin liquid on a cotton ball stuffed up the hole. it will kill but will need to be reapplied again next year.

Oh they're in trouble this year....

Saw about 30 in the HNF around Elkinsville yesterday! Honked the truck horn and they went scurrying off the road. Almost "accidently" ran one over.

      Beaver destroying my land?

Have the Mrs. hold and aim the flashlight while you hold and aim the gun. This worked for me when one of the devils went from the creek to my subs retention pond to my ornamental trees. .22 subsonics out of respect for my neighbors. The bugger now serves as a has for my buddy's kid.

      Ruger LC9 Any Good?

Where is the thumb safety on the LS9S? So the Pro is like a glock with just a trigger safety?

Ruger LCP - DON'T PAY RETAIL

I called Noblesville store. Never had any in stock and wont do a rain check. Sounds like false advertising. Glad I didn't head out there on this frosty day.
