Is ths only the first round? Are you loading an 8 round mag with 8? Did you "break in" the mag? (fill it up and let it sit fir a few days)

How is the hangup happening? Bullet straight into ramp? Nosedive? Failure to go into battery? Is the ejector on the rim?

Also, is there noticable vertical play in a seated mag? If so, you might just need a new EGW mag catch (I'm speaking from experience )

First round, I only have 7 round mags, hadn't heard of "breaking in" a mag before. I believe the bullet straight into ramp fits the description best, I should've taken a picture when I was shooting yesterday but I got a bit excited by the fact that the FMJs were actually working.

If FMJ's are working sounds like it's an ammo issue

I would still get some wilson's...I'm having trouble finding them locally myself.
