    Easy. The .380 is not a synchronous caliber. It's effective when criminals use it against citizens, but it's not effective when citizens use it against criminals.

    The 22lr and 22 mag are two other examples of asynchronous rounds.

    Price. . . . . . 380s can be had cheap and readily found like many pocket guns and Hi Points. Guy at work overheard the other gunnut and I talking and he butted in with saying he had chrome 50AE Desert Eagle and a Shady 380 lol. We all doubt the Desert Eagle exists and he wont sell it
