5 guns every gun owner should have

i totally agree. you could have an a.r with .22 drop in conversion and kill two birds with one stone... however, 5 just isnt enough. according to my wife every gun is a must have for me!

Wow, funny this topic should be resurrected this week. I just watched a great video on the same topic. Other than the backup carry gun, they seem to agree with the rest of the group.

this is just my opinion and i'll list what i have in that category. looking for others opinion on this. thanks


1. .22LR - Rifle and or pistol (Marlin 25N and Ruger MKIII 22/45 RP)
would like a Ruger 10/22 also

2. Shotgun (Mossberg 500 12 Gauge)

3. Lg Caliber Centerfire Pistol (Springfield XD45 Service Model)
9mm and above

4. Back up gun or pocket pistol (Ruger LCP)

5. AR-15 or AK-47 Looking into getting a AR-15 soon

I said 5 but i couldn't live without my Lever gun (Marlin 1894c 38/.357)

I missed this one first time around. I assume we only have to have the generic item covered, not the model specific.
1. Rifles, pistols and revolvers. This is pretty well covered but I am starting to think I am missing out by not having a S&W 15-22.
2. Shotgun.... as in one? No Mossbergs here though, just Remingtons, Winchesters, Berettas, Brownings, H&R...
3. EDC is covered... when did 9 mm get listed on large caliber?
4. I have a pocket .22 but who knows maybe I will get one of the little 9s one of these days.
5. Done and done.

Where are the real battle rifles? Everyone needs a Garand or M14 to keep neighbor kids off the grass.
