Lol, yes! Actually, it's quite efficient these days. Maybe you'll just have to go when we kidnap you and move you here for good.

I only know about the DMV (or BMV) from what I've seen in TV shows and movies.
In the TV show "reaper" a demon works at the DMV since it's the closest thing to hell on earth. :):

It used to be bad here, but Mitch Daniels made a point of fixing it. And he did. I haven't spent more than 10 minutes in one in a long time.

My favorite BMV movie scene is in "Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy"

I read the book but haven't seen the movie.

5/7 never been to the 500, and had never heard of sugar cream pie until I read about it here on INGO a few years back. Persimmon pudding? Yeah, hear about that and tenderloins all the time, but in my 50 years of living on the Ohio river, never a peep about sugar cream pie.

I used to DREAD it. didn't know it was Mitch that made the experience much less painful.

It's like as you get older and even though a shot doesn't hurt like it did as a kid you still cringe.

That's the way I feel when I have to go to the BMV.

Having only scored a 2.5/7 (I didn't get out of the car at the Farmer's Market), I have to assume there is a bias against people without Samsung's virtual reality technology.

    Let's see, I can check off;
    - shoot a gun (did that less than two weeks after moving here)
    - visit the BMV
    - eat sugar cream pie (I had no idea that even existed until last month)

That breaded tenderloin looks real good too.

    1. What in the heck a sugar cream pie?
    2. I've been to the 400 several times but never the 500.
    3. I grow my own produce.
    4. I hate crowds.
    5. I'm not driving across the state to see large piles of sand.

Been to the dunes several times years ago. Does anyone know if they ever re-opened Mount Baldy? It was closed last time I was in the area, I think because someone got sucked into some type of sink hole.
