Edit: Just got a batch of approvals. New average: 94 days.

Looking at approval times over the past three months, our average NFA efile approval time dropped from seven months to five months. We also just had an efile form 4 come back in 87 days and a paper form 4 come back in 62 days.

I’m hoping this trend continues in our favor.

We have one outlier from Jan 15th and one from Feb 7th. The rest are coming back pretty quickly.

A little good news in the NFA world. Just sharing.

That’s great I got that beat as e-mail came in Wednesday 54 working day. I’m so busy can’t it until Tuesday most likely

With the current push to dissolve the NFA I’m sure that will increase wait times.
    That doesn't make sense.

First, it isn't going to happen. The Rs have no intention of doing something like that even if they had enough of a majority to actually pull it off.

Second, if it was happening, why would anyone pay the tax and submit a form?

Understood, but with standard govt efficiency, I figured it costs them much more than $200 per app, but maybe not. That said, I'm thankful that the law didn't call for inflation adjustment on the tax.
It was passed in the era of the gold standard dollar. Inflation really wasn't a thing like today.
