So I started a metallic cartridge collection a few years ago. Here is what I have so far. Picked up the .32 Remington Auto and the .32-20 today. Any suggestions on where to look for ammo besides word of mouth? Also, any way to get ones and twos of ammo shipped without a hazmat fee?

If you look around you should be able to find reproductions of the Winchester and rem bullet boards and then fram them up. Now that you have started you have to get the rem and winchester stamped cases of each one.

It is a real cool hobby.

Right now I haven't started to display them. They are all in a box. Thinking of a way to display them where I have a way to expand without redoing the whole display.

Check flea markets. I've seen several boxes of bullets. "Antique bullets $1 each" some really good deals to be found in such grab bags. I didn't think ammo had to be shipped hazmat?

Its an explosive packed behind a projectile, therefore couriers consider it "a hazard"

Odd. I figure it would just ship ORM-D like any other ammunition purchases. Are the rules different when it's only one or two cartridges? That's kind of strange. Didn't know.

Thats what i thought he meant when he said hazmat fee. Disregard my previous post.
