I've said it before, I'll say it again. If it turns out to be a "lone wolf", they'll report that like it's somehow more more comforting than someone connected directly to some group.

What's more dangerous, a whole bunch of individuals who carry out violence based upon the same philosophy, or a group with that same philosophy that can be tracked?

Shooter's father says this has nothing to do with religion, but that his son had seen 2 men kissing a couple of weeks ago and it "enraged him".

My heart goes out to the casualties as well as the families and friends of those killed, injured, and traumatized.

Shooter had license to carry (legally) and was a former security guard (presumably with additional vetting). Tell us again how more thorough background checks are going to stop people from shooting other people?
