I have a dpms w/quad rail, red dot 16" it's a great gun but I think I'm going to sell it or trade it because it's a safe queen and doesnt get any use. I think they are great guns and I would make sure if your spe ding that amount of money to get a quality firearm.

I too have been thinking about making the AR my next purchase. Thanks for the bits of info. Ill keep ya posted when i decide what im going to get.

DPMS uppers are very affordable, and run great.

DPMS is a nice AR. Ive had mine for almost a month with 500rds through it. No issues at all. Love it, dont know why I waited so long to get my first Ar, lol

I know evey one keeps mentioning the M&P sport. But you should consider building your own AR. this way you can spend the money at your pace and end up with what you want. Its cheaper to build then but so you could afford a higher quality rifle. My
